Don & Holly Huber | Owners Don began the business back in 1978 in his garage. His first jobs included shirts for local softball teams, businesses and bands...including artwork for McGuffey Lane. An embroidery machine was his next purchase and customers were very pleased with the new classy look that embroidery offered. A building was then built to house the growing business and eventually when he out-grew the space, he moved the company to it's current location on Main street in Ottawa. As his love for art would prove, he began the Buckeye Country Art series which celebrates the love of family, friends and Ohio State Buckeyes. The gallery on the second floor at Phantasm houses his beautiful artworks, along with prints and other Buckeye merchandise. To expand the business even further, he purchased a HP5000 wide format printer. Now Phantasm can offer signs, posters, canvas prints and banners to their large list of available services. Don doesn't spend too much time at Phantasm these days, as he is busy doing what he loves which is painting in his home studio. Be sure to visit the Buckeye gallery from time to time to see all his latest paintings. |
